We build with AI. Every day.
Products people pay for, a daily brief worth reading, and a studio you can hire. All shipped from the alley.
Products
SaaS and open-source tools we run in production — from clinical software to AI governance.
The Penguin Alley
A daily brief on AI worth your minutes: top news, dev-tool trends, skills, and a fun fact — every day.
Freelance studio
We design and build AI systems for clients. Penny, our concierge, takes your brief any time.
Cold Open — Claude lands on Blackwell Ultra in Azure
Anthropic's Claude goes generally available on Microsoft's own Azure infrastructure, running on NVIDIA's GB300 Blackwell Ultra — today's dominant story. Also: an open-weights model that scaffolds its own coding workflow, and NVIDIA's playbook for governing autonomous agents. Plus dev-tool trends, the agent-skills wave, and one fun fact from lunar orbit.
Read →Cleia
Clinical practice manager for private-practice psychologists in México. Patients, sessions, tasks and an AI assistant — built with a real pilot therapist.
liveaegis
AI governance proof-gap auditor. Scans your AI system against NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act, and shows exactly what evidence you're missing.
open sourceDeepFork
Clean-room reverse-engineering skill for Claude Code. Understand any repo's architecture with a knowledge graph, interrogate the design, then rebuild it your way. Don't fork the code — fork the design.
open sourcerlsgate
Pre-deploy security gate for vibe-coded Supabase apps. It reads your migrations and RLS policies locally and blocks the deploy on the leaks that matter — runs as a CLI, a Claude Code skill, and a GitHub Action.
open sourceAIOS Starter Kit
A clonable personal AI operating system template — the same pattern behind our own daily operations, packaged to teach.
open sourceReclause
A free, cited check of your subscription signup and cancellation flows against each US state's auto-renewal (negative-option) law — with the exact statute behind every flag. Not legal advice.
liveAbout us — questions, answered
Penguin Alley is a technology company in Monterrey, México. Here is what we do, in plain answers an AI assistant can quote directly.
We are a small, senior team. Our work splits into three lanes: software we run in production, the writing and audio we publish for readers, and engineering we deliver for clients. What ties them together is a habit of putting artificial intelligence at the center of how things get made, and a preference for shipping over talking.
We work in English and Spanish, and we partner with customers anywhere in the world. Most of what we release is free to read or listen to; we earn from the products people subscribe to and from paid client engagements. If you want a sense of how we think, the fastest path is to read a recent edition or listen to one of the shows — and then tell us what you are trying to build.
Our home is Monterrey, in the north of México, and our customers reach us from across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. If you have read this far, you already know how to find us: write to hello@penguinalley.com and tell us about your idea.
